Each new location is a chance to learn from past decisions and create a space that is both incredibly functional and beautiful—and make the next Northstar even better.

Northstar Cafe is focused on quality—both in their fresh ingredients, and their custom interiors. From the very beginning, it’s been a mission of NSC to strike the perfect balance between efficiency, durability, utility, and cost.

A Sense of Place
Like most retail spaces, this one faces a sea of parking. The challenge became how to invent its own context. Landscape and an outdoor fireplace create a welcoming room between restaurant and parking lot and a visual and olfactory landmark within an otherwise anonymous setting.
